Rachel Weisz

There's something really enchanting in Rachel Weisz. I'll always remember her from Fountain where she did a wonderful role and her role in Agora didn't let me down either. I I recently watched The Constant Gardener, I warmly recommend it too.

She had really soulful roles in both movies and specially Agora suited her perfectly, it was like made for her.

There's something in Rachel that have made her almost invisible to me before. It's really hard to explain what I mean... with some actresses it just takes a while before you realize how wonderful they are. They make movies and you like their movies and remember their roles and then suddenly you realize you haven't really seen any bad movies with them and that the roles they have made have actually been amazing. I think it's really special when this happens, the same happened to me with Cate Blanchett and since then I've been deeply in love with her work. Rachel, like Cate, picks roles with depth.

" I'm not one for parties and stuff like that. I get a bit nervous around lots of people. Being invisible is what I really enjoy. That I find quite entertaining. "

Middle of Nowhere

Somehow I liked this movie a lot, it made me feel good and think about life in general. Susan did a good role and it was interesting to see her in a same movie with her daughter Eva. It was also nice to see Susan's dog Penny in the movie.

I just read that Susan actually has a brecelet made of Eva's Wisdom Teeth. Well, that's interesting.

Kool Thing.

I remember my first Mrs. Robinson crush was Kim Gordon. I was around fifteen years old back then. So, that's like over ten years ago and it makes me feel a bit old now, but in a good way of course. I must say I had a good taste back then. Kim is wonderful and I still admire her deeply. She's got attitude, she's THE attitude. She's got the most original voice and style.

I probably fell in love with her after I saw this;

And just a moment ago I fell a bit more in love with her after I saw this;

Lucy Cohu

I love Lucy Cohu. She's a great actress. She's so charismatic. She's got the loveliest nose. And a brittish accent. She had an amazing role as princess Margaret in The Queen's sister. I have also seen her in Gosford Park, Ballet Shoes and Becoming Jane.

In November 2008 she won an International Emmy award for Best Actress for her role in the true-life drama Forgiven. I haven't seen it but I'd love to.

Leaving

I don't really know what to say about this movie. I liked it a lot, Kristin Scott Thomas did a very intense role, great acting, interesting story. I usually like french movies, there's just something fascinating in them, something moving and real.

Shelter

Julianne did a very good role in this thriller. I'm not going to tell more about the movie since I don't want to give any spoilers and I think it's better if you don't really know much about it. It's interesting and offers something new. Anyway, I advice you to follow the plot carefully since to me it was a bit complicated.

The Private Lives of Pippa Lee

I'm not sure about the movie. It was good but not wonderful, something was missing. I think the acting was great though.  I can't remember seeing Robin Wright Penn and Maria Bello before and I think they both did amazing job.

I didn't know that Julianne plays lesbian in this movie so it was a nice surprise for me. A lesbian who winks her eye and doesn't wear a bra.I haven't seen Julianne in that kind of role before so it was kind of interesting. I kept on admiring at her little freckles.

But the question is; what kind of ancient goddess created a heavenly creature like Monica Bellucci?

Patricia laughing.

I love her laugh. Such a charming lady.

J.K. Rowling

It's time to admit I'm kind of obsessed with J.K. Rowling. I don't really know how to explain it since I'm not a big fan of Harry Potter. Suddenly, it just happened. I have seen the movies but I haven't even read the books and I do like to the movies but they aren't my absolute favourites. But J.K... well she's a writer, she's brittish, she's got a nice cleavage... wait I wasn't supposed to write that one yet. Maybe it's her wonderful imagination which attracts me. And there is something really brittish in her. I can't really explain what it is but gosh, I love brittish women like that. She seems a bit reserved and still eccentric and there's something slightly clumsy in her but in a really sweet way. I don't really know how to describe it better. And she writes... well, she writes.

And I love the way she answers children's questions. If you ever need an assistant, just call me J.K. I promise to bring some more magic in your life.

I heart wrinkles.

Oh look at them, little wrinkles! Sweet dreams to me.

Praise Susan.

In my dreams I'm married to Susan Sarandon. She must be my favourite lady of all time. I'm just so so so in love with her. She's so beautiful, so smart, she does things she believes in. She's a wonderful actress. She's down-to-earth, funny and did I say, she's so so so so so so hot. I love her voice, I love listening to her, I love watching her. Did I say I love her?

She did a wonderful role in The Greatest. I know this sounds silly but I've been following her movies for years and when I saw her in this movie I was so proud of her. She was so good I just felt like pinching myself every now and then. I loved the movie, it was touching and I haven't really seen movie like that before so it felt special to me.

One of the things I love about Susan is her love for her dogs. I think I'm going to blog about them later. Now I will take a cold shower.
